Andreas Fiedler

Andreas Fiedler has studied political science, economy and psychology at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg. After completing a Masters of European Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges he started working in the European Parliament. In 2003 he went back to Germany to work for the isw Institute for structural policy and economic development as head of the area for international cooperation. |

During the last 10 years he has successfully developed and implemented a number of European projects, mainly in the Interreg IIIC, IVC, IIIB and Central Europe Programme. A special focus was given to the promotion of the chemical sector. European Projects have initiated the European Chemical Regions Network (www.ecrn.net). Furthermore questions of chemical logistics (www.ChemLog.info), innovation promotion and cluster development (www.ChemClust.eu) have been in the centre of interest. He is also responsible for the development of international contacts of the Cluster Chemistry / Plastics Central Germany (www.cluster-chemie-kunststoffe.de)
