International week 2014

Invitation to the International week 2014 of the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Pardubice, Czech Republic, October 20. – 24. 2014.

Dear partner, dear colleague,

The Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Pardubice is pleased to invite you and your collegues to join our 3^rd International Week, taking place from the 20^th until the 24^th of October, 2014.

With this initiative, we aim to build on our last years’ experience and to strengthen our cooperation with your institution. We would like to offer all participants, both teachers and administrative staff, an enriching international and intercultural learning experience. We will offer you a relaxing atmosphere, heightened by the small but beautiful town.

What can you expect to happen during the international Week?

• A series of lectures, presented by the incoming staff (incoming teachers are kindly asked to give lectures – please let us know your topic as soon as possible)
• Meeting not only our staff, but also our Czech and international students
• An opportunity to network, present your institution, and to exchange good practices
• Exploring Pardubice, including the old town and the castle
• Visiting Pardubice Regional Hospital, where our foreign students undergo clinical placements

A more detailed program and all practical information will follow. Some first information to know:

• Participants are expected to arrive by October 20, 2014. Initial welcome meeting will take place on October 20 in morning. Departure is foreseen on October 24, 2014.
• Participants pay their own travel and accommodation costs. Included in our package are selected lunches, refreshments, and transportation to / from the faculty to the town centre (on selected days).
• We foresee a maximum of 20  foreign participants in total
