dne 29.11. proběhla v učebně ÚEnM přednáška na téma: "Liquid Rocket Engines and Liquid Propellants"
The lecture presented the operating principles and main characteristics of liquid rocket engines. It was discuss their advantages and disadvantages compared to solid propellant rocket motors. Different types and applications of liquid rockets were introduced. Fuels, oxidizers and different combinations used in liquid rockets¨were presented, and their main properties (energetic performance, storability, ignitability, etc.) were discussed. The lecture included examples and information on existing liquid propellant rocket engines and their application.
